Emma Wilson BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapist

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Huddersfield, following earlier work as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities.

My early career included roles in the charity sector supporting individuals with visual impairments, before I transitioned into mental health services in 2010. Over the next 14 years, I worked across a range of settings, including neuropsychiatry, CAMHS, and autism services, supporting individuals with complex and diverse needs.

In 2024, I launched my private practice to follow my passion for supporting the neurodivergent community. Alongside offering dyspraxia assessments vis Dyspraxia UK, I also provide ADHD assessments, occupational therapy and coaching, and inclusive workplace training.

I have completed extensive additional training in executive functioning, coaching, trauma-informed practice, and the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD and Dyspraxia.

Having been diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 40 — after many years of recognising the same traits in my clients — and with neurodivergent family members, I bring a deeply empathetic and lived perspective to my work. I support individuals, families, schools, and workplaces to build resilience, develop executive functioning skills, and promote mental wellbeing.

I am a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT), registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and hold full professional liability insurance.
